Lulu Li is an active practitioner in fields of design, art, interaction design, research, curatorial practice, and entrepreneurship. Both her personal works and studio works has won numerous awards from TOCA ME, GAM awards, Red Dot, IF award, to the Best app 2014 and 2015 in app store. Her personal renowned design work series "the lightning babe" has won her reputation in Chinese design scene 2007, while her later artwork "Where r u..." is installed in K11 Shanghai building facade as permanent collection. 2013 she run Beijing based social innovation platform - Interactive Beijing. In 2013 program "Our A!r" aimed to fight for air pollution crisis. The pilot project "Eco Air Bubble" upgraded public gym machines into human-powered fresh air sanctuary. It has won her Germany's Green Product Award with innovative thinking in 2015. 2016 “ City as Museum” VR project exhibited at Venice Architecture Biennale. 2016, she participated both curation and research of the inaugural "Beijing Media Art biennale - Ethic of Technology".

Krzysztof Wodiczko

Krzysztof Wodiczko is Professor in Residence of Art, Design and the Public Domain at the GSD. He is renowned for his large-scale slide and video projections on architectural facades and monuments. He has realized more than eighty such public projections around the world. Since the late 1980s, his projections have involved the active participation of marginalized and estranged city residents. Simultaneously, he has been designing and implementing a series of nomadic instruments and vehicles with homeless, immigrant, and war veteran operators for their survival and communication.

Orkan Telhan is interdisciplinary artist, designer and researcher whose investigations focus on the design of interrogative objects, interfaces, and media, engaging with critical issues in social, cultural, and environmental responsibility. Telhan is Assistant Professor of Fine Arts – Emerging Design Practices at University of Pennsylvania, School of Design. He was part of the Sociable Media Group at the MIT Media Laboratory and the Mobile Experience Lab at the MIT Design Laboratory. He studied Media Arts at the State University of New York at Buffalo and theories of media and representation, visual studies and graphic design at Bilkent University, Ankara. Telhan is working towards his PhD in Design and Computation at MIT’s Department of Architecture. Telhan’s individual and collaborative work has been exhibited in a number of venues including the Istanbul Design Biennial, Ars Electronica, ISEA, LABoral, Archilab, Architectural Association, Architectural League/ NYC, and the MIT Museum.

Burak Pekoglu was born and raised in Turkey, studied architecture in USA and had worked in Denmark, Turkey and USA. Burak is an artist, designer and a registered architect in Turkey (CAT). Burak founded BINAA l Building INnovation Arts Architecture in 2012; a collaborative platform where innovative and artistic ideas find form. Works of BINAA include range of products from architectural explorations to collaboration design, and art forms.

Thomas Olin Kosbau is the founder and inventor of VENA Water and ORE. Thomas has taught Advanced Design Studio at Columbia University, Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation. Thomas’ work has won numerous awards for architecture and design including the NYC Design Award ; A+ Architizer; the Livable Cities Award from the Municipal Arts Society, and is currently nominated for the Smithsonian National Design Award for Architecture.
ORE researches and develops new applications for emerging technologies. In 2010, ORE took first place in the IIDA Awards competition with a proposal to replace Incheon, Korea’s infrastructure of conventional asphalt roads with organically grown sandstone streets. ORE also won first place in RIBA’s International Energy Revolution competition with its Hydral Energy Production Project, an integrative approach to local energy production using algae panels. ORE’s current projects range from a bio-mimetic cactus that harvests drinking water from the air in arid environments and a jacket/tent for homeless housing made from recycled umbrella fabric. Ewa Harabasz

Harabasz has taught at several universities in United States, and was a Visiting Professor at Cornell University from 2005 to 2009.
Her paintings and drawings have been exhibited in both solo and group shows in the United States, Europe, Asia and Israel in exhibitions such as in Identity and Otherness at the Socio-Political Contemporary Art Museum on the Seam in Jerusalem, and Mutter at the Kulturzentrum bei den Minoriten in Graz, Austria. A retrospective exhibition of her paintings and drawings is touring in Poland in 2012 at BWA in Olsztyn, Gallery Wozownaia in Torun, Gallery Le Guern in Warsaw, and Gallery Entropia in Wroclaw. Harabasz was awarded the Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant in 2007. EH现在哈佛GSD任教, 她曾在美国更多所大学任教,从 2005 -2009 她曾是康奈尔大学的客座教授. James Shen is a product designer and architect. He is a founding partner of Beijing-based People’s Architecture Office and People’s Industrial Design Office, Visiting Professor at MIT, and a Harvard Loeb Fellow. People’s Architecture Office is a certified B Corporation, focusing on social impact through design. Award winning projects such as the Courtyard House Plugin, the People’s Canopy, and the Tricycle House speak to an interest in informal urbanism and a unique multidisciplinary approach to engaging in urban regeneration. James’s works have been shown at the Venice Architecture Biennale, Rotterdam International Architecture Biennale, the Harvard Graduate School of Design, and have been exhibited in cities including New York, London, Milan, Seoul, and Hong Kong.

Matt Hope was born in 1976 in London. He studied at Chelsea School of Art, received his BFA at the Winchester School of Art, and later earned his MFA at University of California. He came to China in 2008, Inspired by the local natural and social environment, and had been discovering the numerous and affluent production materials and components in Chinese market, Hope created a series of kinetic and sound installation, such as the “Tower series", "People's power station" and the "Breathing Bike”; In the meantime, Hope also produce a group of large scale granite sculptures and the stainless steel installation “Tool Series”, etc.

Alessandro has been living and working in Beijing since 2003, as a multimedia and performance artist, director, curator, researcher, writer and lecturer. His work focuses on social intervention and relational dynamics to expand the notion of art practice beyond existing structures, spaces and hierarchies and engage directly with reality in multiple ways. He is the founder, in 2011, and director of the Social Sensibility Research & Development Department at Bernard Controls in Beijing and Paris and one of the founding partner of the Social Sensibility Research Institute (SoSense). Wang, born in Liaoning province of China, spent majority of his life in Beijing since moving here 22 years ago with his family. He received his only undergrad education in the department of Economics of Renmin University where the only thing he learned is how to gather information through internet to self educate. Other than going to financial industry or economics academia like his peers, Wang haphazardly put himself into the underground world of China's politics where he got a glimpse of the inconvenient truth of China and psychological barriers imposed on by the government. He was a core participant of a staged protest against a China's propaganda official while he was giving a lecture. The protest was internally and internationally reported online, arguably considered as the most creative and rare public protest against an official in China. Wang also tempted to work in the fields of paintings and installations. His major interest is conceptual
